Setup & Usage

Backend (bio-api)

Install & Run:

cd plugin
npm install
npm run build
npm start

Server starts on port 9031 by default.

Development Mode:

npm run dev

Environment Variables (create .env):

PORT=9031
OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-your-key-here

Frontend (bio-ui)

Install & Run:

cd frontend
npm install
npm run dev

Dev server runs at http://localhost:5173 (host 0.0.0.0).

Build for Production:

npm run build

Output: dist/ with relative asset paths (iframe-compatible for TetreesAI platform).

Environment Variables (create .env.local):

VITE_API_BASE_URL=http://localhost:9031

If VITE_API_BASE_URL is not set, the frontend falls back to locally-generated sample bios.

Notes

• Frontend Fallback: If the backend API is unavailable or VITE_API_BASE_URL is not configured, the frontend automatically generates sample bios locally using generateLocalBios().
• Retry Logic: The frontend includes automatic retry logic with exponential backoff (3 retries, 2-second delay) for resilience.
• Clipboard Fallback: Uses the Clipboard API when available; falls back to execCommand('copy') for older browsers.
• TetreesAI Integration: Frontend build outputs relative asset paths (./assets/...) for iframe compatibility with the TetreesAI platform.

This React web app completed archive review with strong static results. Structure, dependency manifests, documentation, functional source, and common risk patterns were checked by the Tetrees verification pipeline; runtime phases are stated separately. Final verified scores after isolated runtime evidence: overall 9.2 and security 9.5.
