Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Tetrees ("we", "us") collects when you use Tetrees EX, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

1. Who we are

Tetrees operates the Tetrees EX marketplace and is the controller of the personal data described here. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact business@insightvessel.io.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email, display name, avatar, and authentication identifiers (including Google/GitHub IDs if you use social login), plus seller onboarding details.
• Transaction data — orders, licenses, Points balance and history, payout information, and dispute records. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers.
• Content — Products and listings, discussions, product requests, comments, reviews, reports, and messages you submit.
• Usage and analytics — pages viewed, referrers, and product interactions, collected as first-party analytics to improve the service and measure the funnel.
• Technical data — IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, and security/rate-limit logs.
• Communications — emails and support messages you exchange with us.

3. How we use data

We use data to: operate the Marketplace and your account; process purchases, payouts and taxes; grant and enforce licenses; provide verification, sandbox and deploy features; mediate disputes (see Terms §7); prevent, detect and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents; provide support; send optional product invitations where permitted and respect your email preferences; comply with legal obligations; and improve and secure the product. Where required, our legal bases include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (e.g. security and improvement), consent (e.g. certain communications), and legal compliance.

4. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers ("processors") who help us run the Marketplace, under appropriate contractual safeguards:

• Stripe — payments, payouts and tax calculation.
• Email provider (Elastic Email) — transactional emails (receipts, password resets, purchase links) and optional product invitations. Marketing messages include a preference or unsubscribe path.
• Cloud and storage (Amazon Web Services) — hosting and object storage of Product artifacts and images.
• LLM providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) — optional enrichment of verification reports and Smart Search; we do not send them more than needed for the feature.

Sellers see the limited Buyer information necessary to fulfil and support a sale and to handle disputes. We may also disclose data to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety and property of users and Tetrees, and in connection with a merger or acquisition.

5. International transfers

Tetrees EX is operated from the Republic of Korea, and our providers (e.g. AWS in the United States, Stripe, LLM providers) may process your data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Some records (e.g. transaction, tax and dispute history) are retained for longer where required by law or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Product artifacts are stored in access-controlled object storage and served via short-lived signed links; passwords are hashed; access is restricted and logged. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to your local law, you may access, correct, delete, or export your account data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Every optional marketing email provides a way to leave that mailing list or stop all optional marketing; this does not disable necessary account, security, order, or support messages. To exercise other rights, contact business@insightvessel.io; we may need to verify your identity. Some data may be retained where the law allows or requires. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use local storage and essential cookies for authentication, security and preferences. We do not load third-party advertising trackers. Our analytics are first-party.

10. Children

The Marketplace is not intended for children below the minimum age stated in our Terms, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes and contact
